LIVING UNITED
Michael A. Mehalik
Living United is a theme that may be
more important today than in any time in recent memory.
Our community, our state, and our country are facing challenging times. It is
times like these when the residents of Jefferson County always step up to meet the needs of our neighbors and friends.
The United
Way 2010 Partner Agencies are working hard to meet the needs of Jefferson County residents.
Clearly, service needs are growing and at
the same time funding cuts are occurring. It is up to us, the residents of Jefferson County, to provide the "bailout" money to assure
that our friends and neighbors receive the help they need.
Please help by trying to be extra generous with your United Way donation.
Jefferson County is a great place to work, live, and raise a family. Please help United Way keep it that way!
The United Way of Jefferson County Board of Directors set the fall of 2009 campaign goal at $430,000.
The campaign has officially kicked off as of September 1, 2009.
Our 2010 campaign is nearly closed and we are at about 80% the total funds needed to continue to support our 19 local member agencies in the coming year. Please consider a gift to United Way of Jefferson County. Every dollar counts.
